Lovely in Lace
Posted by WTT on 13th Oct 2016
Lace is said to have arose in the early sixteenth century. There are many different types of lace; knit lace, guipure lace, embroided lace, chantilly lace, brocade, Alencon and eyelet lace. Lace worn properly can be so pretty and elegant, you just need the right occasion and the right styling, too much in the wrong colours can be a disaster.
Lace is mostly seen as a formal fabric but it is definitely a must have when worn casually. Lace was massively on trend this Summer especially for festivals and holiday day dresses. However this Autumn/Winter it continues to be on trend. The bohemian image is taking over, care free and beautiful style graces winter; through loose lace knit jumpers, lace overlays and long sleeve shirts, blouses and dresses. The beauty of lace is it's elegance it works for almost any occasion.
Lace is important to consider when shopping for weddings gowns, because each style is unique in it's own way. Bridesmaids, ball gowns, and children's christening's are other dresses which might consider lace. Want That Trend offer a stunning range of evening and casual lace dresses. Our favourites are Heather Nude Bodycon, Hannah Black Lace Skater and Anita Nude Lace Skater.
